Boxwood Wreath for Spring

Good News!
It seems like Spring might actually happen here in the Midwest.
After two snowstorms last week, we have sixty degrees in the forecast, at last!

In honor of Spring, I decided to change out the wreath on Mr. Grand's Bar Cart.
You can only imagine how thrilled he is.

This pretty red sparkly wreath was great for the Holidays
and I even managed to stretch it out and call it Valentine's Day decor.

(I wrote about jumping on the Bar Cart Bandwagon here in this blog post.)

But it was time for a change.
I needed a breath of spring air and color.

Here's the new Boxwood wreath, gracing the Bar Cart and mirror.

You can see that Mr. Grand has embraced the Bar Cart concept
and has added to his collection of Scotch and Bourbon...
He threw in a few bottles of wine for me.

The wreath is very pretty.
It is faux boxwood but looks quite real and is airy and light.

It has some tiny flowers too.

I had been looking online for a boxwood wreath
but hadn't been able to find the right size.

Then I saw this post by Yvonne at Stone Gable about a boxwood wreath giveaway
and knew I had found my wreath.
It's made by Melissa at Daisymaebelle.com.
There are instructions at her website for how to make your own boxwood wreath,
but I thought her price for the wreath was very reasonable.
I did not want to take a chance and not win the giveaway either.
I figured that with the wide exposure on the Stone Gable blog,
the orders would be piling up
so
I ordered one right away.

It arrived today and I love it.
I even got a little artsy with my photographs.

I like the reflections of my star mullions...

and this dome covered basket

And how it works with the lines of the mirror.

Funny how a little change can make me so cheery!

What are you doing to get ready for Spring?
